Blog#9:My neighborhood(Jason)

 Today I would like to introduce my neighborhood. I am living in Sugamo and my neighborhood is convenience. At frist, I can find the convenience store, supermarket, coin-laundry and library 5 minute walk by foots and there is a quiet place for living. If i want to shopping or have a walk, i can across the Togenuki shopping street(とげぬき商店街). There is not a buy street but when the day have "4" there will be very busy because for the Enichi(縁日）.

 I love this town because there have many old person and they are courtesy and It is a good place for walking.

Blog#8: My neighbourhood (Satoaki)

 Hello, eveyone. I would like to introduce you about my neighbourhood. I live in Funabashi. Do you know Funabashi? It is a big city in Chiba and the population of Funabashi is more than 600,000. Because Funabashi is near Tokyo, it is very convenient. My neighbourhood is located between Funabashi station on the Sobu line and Keiseifunabashi station on the Keisei line. It takes 5 minutes to get to Funabashi and 3 minutes to get to Keiseifunabashi on foot.

I have lived here since I was seven years old. This is a fourteen-story mansion and I have lived upstairs. A good poin is go up and down the stairs is very easy but bad point is a view is bad.

A view from my veranda window is not good. So I want to live high floor in the future.

This is located near my house and small. When I was a test taker, I often payed a visit to the Shinto shrine to pass an exam. So that is a place full of memories for me.

Because this is  first floor, I can buy anything 24 hours. It is very convenient for me. And ther are some supermarkets near my house.

I like my town very much. Because it is very convenient and near the station. This is a good point. But there is a bad point too. There are many drunken men around my mansion at night. So it was very noisy I can not have a good sleep. I am always lack of sleep.

Blog#7:A cool thing I can do on my cellephone (Jason)

 Here is Jason. Today I want to introduce "WeChat" a app. on the smartphone.

 In there days we got many kind of app. to take a contact with friends like Lane, and WeChat is one of these. but WeChat have a unique function the others do not have, it can send a short voice massage.

 The good point of voice massage is you do not need to call or wait for that. It means you can save more times! On my case, Typing by phone is very tiredly and this very useful for me.

Blog#3:Collections of the Palace Museum(Jason)

 Hello everyone! Today I want to introduce Collections of the Palace Museum. Collections of the Palace Museum is in the Forbidden City on Beijing, in the museum you can find over a million rare and valuable works of art in the permanent collection of the Palace Museum.

I visited there when I was studying in the junior high school and the historical items in the Collections of the Palace Museum made me have more interest of the Chinese history.

I love the art of Shan shui in the museum because I can not believe  it only paint by brush and ink, that was very interesting. If you have a chance to visit Beijing, I recommend the Collections of the Palace Museum for you and you can find the Chinese Historical items up there.

 Hello, everyone. My cellphone is iphone5. I introduce you about my favorite application. It is Sports navi! This icon is a form of a trophy. Do you know this application? It makes me get a lot of useful piece of information about sports.

Sports navi makes me convey prompt reports about sports. When I want to know about results of the game, I usually check it. This good point is update speed and detail and plain so this is very popular. Many of my friends use it, too.

Blog#6:"Born Survivor: Bear Grylls"(Jason)

 "Born Survivor: Bear Grylls" also called "Man vs. Wild" or "Ultimate survival" is a survival television series hosted by Bear Grylls on the Discovery Channel. I really like this series becauce the title "How to survival if you were losted in the wild" is interesting. The host Bear Grylls was joineed the British Army and he is a reason why I like this serise too.

 In the TV, Bear Grylls always dive to the location like desert, dense forest or snow covered mountain and to show what should they do if they lost. The impressed point is he really to "SHOW" how to do it. for example, he dive in to the clod water in the snow covered mountain and to show what should they do. and the other example, he ask the losted people eat insects or rotten meat if they have not food and he eat it. These things was shocking and let me know a man can do anything for survive.




 The people joke "If Bear Grylls retired, he should be a gourmet". I petty agree about that.

Blog#5: Hong Kong (Jason)

Hello everyone! If you want to visit my city(Hong Kong).I would like to show some intersting spot or things for you. In HK manythings is famous like Avenue of Stars, Ladies Market, Temple street Night Market etc. But when the people arrive Hk at night, they always see the sights of the Victoria Harbour after they put down thier baggages. The best sightseeing spot of Victoria Harbour is The Peak where can see the "The Millon Dollar Night view. Well, you should check the weather-report before because maybe can't see anything if the weather is bad.

 The Lion dance also is a good choice. The Lion dance in Hong Kong is different from Japan. Chick HERE to watch the video of the Hong Kong Lion dance.

 Yumcha is a thing I always recommend my friends to do when they visit HK. Yumcha is a chinese style morning tea the HK peoples usually go to Yumcha before thier work. The travler offen remark the dim sum or chinese tea in there. Ofcause the foods is testy, but I think it is a pity if they can't enjoy the cozy ambience of the Yamcha.

  Hong Kong is a hospitable city and the traveler is convenient to visit other city like Macau, south china and TaiWan. Give me a call if coming and I will guide you! see you.

Blog#6: SUMMER SONIC 2013(Satoaki)

Hello, everyone!
I would like to tell you about SUMMER SONIC 2013. This was held in QVC MARINE FIELD. QVC MARINE FIELD is in Chiba. And nearest station is 海浜幕張. Many singers participated in this festival. I went to there August 11 and on that day was very hot so many peaple were slight heat stroke.

This is an arena seats.

 

My favorite singer is MAN WITH A MISSION. Do you know MAN WITH A MISSION?  This group is composed of five members. They put headgear of  a wolf on his head. My favorite a piece of music is Emotions. This music is very cool and a tune with a quick tempo.



 

What do you feel about this music?

 

This festival was very crowded and the most popular singer was Mr.Children. When this group appeared, an encouragement reached the climax.

Movie blog:Castaway(Jason)

 In the flim, the main character Chuck Nolan is a manager working for FedEx. He is a busy man and always strict on "time" for example, he sent himself a small timer and show that to the staff how many time they used for send it. On his personal life, he got a close girlfriend names Kelly. They are met a long time and they love each other. Chuck plan to propose to her if he finish his work, unfortunately his plane is clashed and he stay alone in a single island. During four years, Chuck continues to survive day-to-day. His weight has pared down considerably, and his hair has grown out.
finally he can back to his county and try to meet Kelly. but she is married and with children. Chuck met her and tell her he was love her but they had their own life now so he say goodbye to her. Over things Chuck is free and he start his new life at the end of the flim.

 Opinion of the flim, I already watched this flim 10 years ago. But when I watch this flim again i got a defferent view. 10 years ago I am a junior high school student and think everything just for fun and about this flim I was only remember that Tom Hanks taking to a volleyball was amusing. At now I can have a different point to see this flim for example, I can notice Tom Hanks pared down his weight for the location. About the ending, it was very interesting. on me, i think the road is mean the way of his life and he stand at a crossroad mean that he can choice a new life in that moment. My favourite scene is Chuck losing Wilson on the sea. Tom Hanks, his acting is very touching and it make me feel like I'm losing a real friend too!Lastly, this is a good flim and if i have a chance I will recommend this flim to my friends.

Blog#2: Ryōtarō Shiba(Jason)

 I am reading the Kunitori monogatari( 国盗り物語) lately. This novel wrote by Ryōtarō Shiba in 1964. This novel is set in the Warring States Period in Japan and focuses on three characters Saitō Dōsan, Oda Nobunaga and Akechi Mitsuhide.

 

I used to be watch the historical drama series on NHK TV and the Saka no Ue no Kumo (坂の上の雲) is a reason why I am start to readding his novels. I think Ryōtarō Shiba's novels is a good way to know about the historical person. Certainly, it is a fiction and maybe not all the events is real on the novels, but on me, it is a different point of view to see a historical person and there can find more interest and more fun.

 In Japan, everyone knows Kabuki is a classical dance-drama and still have a lot people love it. In HK, there have a similarity classical culture call Cantonese opera.

 Cantonese opera is one of the major categories in Chinese opera, originating in southern China's Cantonese culture. In the opera, the actors playing many roles.
Sang (生) The male roles.
Daan (旦) The female roles.
Zing (淨)  heroes, generals, villains, gods, or demons who was well-known.
Cau (丑)  The clown roles.
and they have many different froms. The makeup, costumes and hairstyle show the different of the roles.
 Cantonese opera was a popular culture in HK. but sadly, HK became a international city and now most audiences now restricted to the older generation.

 Hello, everyone!
 First I would like to summarize about Castaway. Main actors are Tom Hanks - Chuck and Helen Hunt - Kelly. Chuck and Kelly were a pair of lovers, but they didn't marry. Chuck worked as a carrier. When he taked an airplane, he was caught a plane crash by a storm. A survivor was only Chuck and the others were dead. Then he arrived at an uninhabited island. He kept waiting for rescue with volleyball called Wilson. It was his only friend and someone to talk to him. He survived strict his living environment. For years later he finally escaped from the uninhabited island by a handmade raft. He consumed time and labor to make it. Then he was rescued and he could see Kelly. But she had already married differnt man. To make matters worse he had been buried. He was regarded as a dead person.
 I was very surprised that Chuck had been saved and his girlfriend had already married about ending. I thought it was unbelievable for me. My favorite scene is that he spoke to Wilson about his career. Because he was glowing when he spoke to Wilson. But it was shocking that he wrote a drawing by his blood. I thought communication was essential to life. This movie was very interesting for me.

Blog#5:You should visit my city! (Satoaki)

Hello, everyone!
I live in Funabashi. Do you kwow where Funabashi is? Funabashi is in Chiba, but Funabashi is the suburbs of Tokyo. My city is known for 三番瀬(SANBANSE). It is a shell gathering spot. You can get a lot of shells there. And my family is usually looking forward to the clamming season. Clamming season is from spring to early summer. If you want to know about SANBANSE, click here.

I think that the interesting thing in Funabashi is さざんかさっちゃん. It is a bronze statue and it is known for a rendezvous. And there is in Funabashi station so many people gather there. I often use there for a rendezvous,too. It is not only a rendezvous but also a donation box. If you come Funabashi, you should gather さざんかさっちゃん. So you will see that many people gathering.

Hello, everyone. Today I’d like to introduce about Matsuoka Mitsuru. He is a vocal of SOPHIA of a rock band and an actor. Although he is not famous, he is a competent singer.

He is very Handsomeness

The debut of the SOPHIA is made in 1995, and it continues in about 20 years. Surprisingly the member of the band has not changed. So, he looks very young but he was burn 1971, he is 41 years old.

 

Mitsuru Matsuoka writes words all the music of SOPHIA. SOPHIA’s words is although one of dark, in the end it is made positive. So I love this band. Matsuoka says his activity of actor is one of SOPHIA's activity. So, he traines power of express.

There will be a live concert of SOPHIA at Budokan 12 August. I can't go the day. I really shock so much. I want to get its DVD. check here.

Hallo everyone. Today I would like to introduce about Donnie Yan. He is a actor in HK and ALL Hong Kong's people knows him. Of course, he is my favorite actor too and when I have a topic about movies with my friends I always talk about Donnie Yan. Unexpectedly, Donnie Yan Is not well-known in Japan and that is the reason why I want to introduce him. OK here is his photo.

 

 

 

He is the top action star in HK. He is widely credited for bringing mixed martial arts into the mainstream of Chinese culture. I'm really love his Martial arts style in the film like Ip Man and Flash Piont. He won the Best Actor by the Awards and he be famous.

Blog#3:The British Museum(Kazumichi)

In spring vacation I went U.K. and I stayed at the Russell Square for 6 days.  Perhaps you know, there is The British Museum.  The British Museum is one of the world's largest museums.  I wanted to go to British Museum.   Actually I had a good time there.

All the things I saw were fresh and were impressed.   I came out to the place opened a little through the ancient ruins in the Central America.   There are a lot of books and few sculpture of Greece.  I was thrown into ecstasies at the sight of there.

By the way, I am pleased with a Moai statue.  He is solitude and shine.  
I  was pleased  medieval arms, the pot of Egypt, and etc.  I want to go again there.

Blog#3:The Greatest Dinosaur Expo 2002（Satoaki)

Hallo, everyone!
When I was third grader in 2002, I visited  Makuhari Messe in Chiba. There was exhibited many fossil dinosaurs, for example, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus. But especially among them, becoming the focus of public attention was a fossil Seismosaurus. Because it was biggest size in the exhibition. The total length of the fossil Seismosaurus was 35 meters. It was so big and I had never seen such a big fossil.

I like this museum very much. Because this museum made a deep impression on me. When I saw the fossil Seismosaurus, I couldn't believe that such a big living thing had inhabited on the earth. I want to recommend this museum because this museum was very interesting and I could have a good time. I like visting museums. Because I can get a lot of information.

Japanese goods have often unique.  Although each country has own unique, some are heterogeneous also in the country.  For example, this one is.

 

This pen case makes by Buten Company.  This company makes also goods.  This company is making even a T-shirt, jeans, zinbei and hanten, and underwear.   I can wear all the worn things for this brand.  Especially, I love T-shirt a series of Buten shopping center.  This series introduces a shop of the shopping center not existing.  For example, it introduces mosquito-repellant incense specialty shop, Japanese-style confection shop, and Kinky permanent specialty barber.

Blog#2: A young woman and a train(Yoshihiko)

―The tragedy occurred last week.

when I was sitting down on the train, a girl (It seems to me that shi is high school student) was coming and sit next to me. at that time her arm touched my arm by chance. I will confess honestly. I felt happy. Yes, I thought that I was lucky today. As a matter of fact  for most of man, if young women sit down next to us, we may feel that I am a person accepted socially. Of course, so am I. And People who are on a web also agree it.

 However The tragedy occurred. when her arm touched my arm by chance, she left from me immediately. I was very shocked. I can’t look her in the eye

 So I become fearful to young women since then.

 

 

 

 

Blog#1: Why the Philippine can't develop? (Yoshihiko)

  Countries in the northeast in Asia have developed since WW2. For example, Japan China Korea Taiwan.  However although the Philippines is near Northeast Asia, it didn't develop. Why its country can't develop unlike the other Northeast country. I think as follows.

  It is important for developing country to having a lot of goods for export.
From economic view point, Philippine is One of the most poverty country in ASEAN.
And Philippine has no goods for export except for sugar now. Why?

  Becouse There is no environment for glowing industry in the Philippine.
One of the most crucial problem in the Philippine is that the most of excellent student escapes to a foreign country for earning money. However the excellent student is important for the Philippine in order to grow up industry.

  That’s why Philippine government must glow and support for all of student more and more. Specially science education is very important. The country having no resources such as Singapore, Korea and Taiwan and so on... grew up the economic power by exporting an industrial commodity.

Fortunately, the most of People in the Philippine can speak and read English. This fact is big advantage for the Philippine compared with the other ASEAN country. That’s why the most of famous book in the world is written in English.

Blog#1:About green tea (Kazumichi)

 

       Most Japanese drink green tea.  Recently plastic bottle tea is popular.  But brewed tea is best of all.  Japan has a history of green tea.  Drinking tea is not only culture but also art.   Many people enjoy drinking tea various ways.  In Shizuoka, some people cultivate green tea.  Shizuoka is one of the most tea productions in Japan.  And Shizuoka tea is a big name brands.  Diverse brands are also in Shizuoka tea. 

       My great-grandfather began tea plantation.  The whole family gathers at tae picking.   In this year, I took part in tea picking.  I had backache.  Picking tea is difficult for me to select good leaves.  Good tealeaves are fresh green and twisting.  That is not easy why I saw it each and every. 

 

Right is good tea leaf. Left is not good.



This names the first tea of the season.  So the first tea of the season is very good taste.  There are little astringent taste and bitterness. There are many tastes as new leaves.

       The first tea of the season is brewed unique way.  It uses lower the boiling water.  Boiling water or water is also useless.  First put tealeaves two teaspoon in teapot.  Second boiling water is once moved to a cup, is cooled, and is poured out (Temperature of hot water: 70~80 degrees centigrade).  It extracts for about 40 seconds.  There is good tea.  Check here.

Blog#1: Sushi and your health (Satoaki)

　Most Japanese like sushi.  And I like sushi too. Japan is a maritime nation. I think this is a reason why Japanese like sushi. Japan's marine fisheries yield is very high in the world. So Japanese people often eat seafood. Sushi is a a representative of seafood dinner. There are various kinds of sushi such as Uni, Amaebi, Ikura, Maguro, Anago and so on. My favorite sushi is Toro because it is very soft and I feel it sweet and juicy. When Toro enters my mouth,  it  melts on my tongue at once. I eat sushi once in three months. I have never been to a revolving sushi bar, so I want to go to there another time. I often go to a sushi shop in my hometown. Sushi is very delicious and everyone thinks it is healthful diet but this is a wrong thinking. To tell the truth, sushi has more calories than a Big Mac and fries. I was very surprised at this topic. And most sushi contains very little protein so it can make you fat. Moreover, because sushi contains more salt, I was very thirsty after eating it.
